Behind the Directory

A few months ago, a close friend of mine in the US was trying to find a reliable mobile detailer to prep their boat for the season. What should have been a simple search turned into a massive logistical headache.

They found themselves digging through outdated social media pages, dealing with disconnected phone numbers, and calling car detailers who didn't even handle marine gelcoats or ceramic coatings. The existing directories were completely cluttered and unhelpful.

Hearing them vent, I looked at the problem through a developer's lens. I couldn't fix the broken listings out there, but I could build something better. I launched The Blue Pages from my desk to clean up the data mess, a streamlined, fast, and no-nonsense registry built specifically to connect boat owners everywhere with verified marine detailing professionals.

It started as a tool to help a friend, but I hope it saves you hours of frustration, too.
